Motorbeurs 2011

Last weekend I went to the ‘Motorbeurs 2011’, a yearly motorcycle fair. As usual I made lots of pictures, which I may upload to the interwebs at a later time. It turned out okay, but I just wasn’t as excited as the last couple of times I went there. Ah well, it can’t be awesome all the time, right?

Plans for the future!

Well well, lately I’ve been busy in (too) many areas (web development, 3d graphics, computer vision, event organizing, conceptual design, advertising, accounting, management and so forth) so I’m probably going to need to cut back a little bit on some of my activities. But one of the things I did take care of last weekend is to get a new webhost. I’ve been hosting my own site for years on my personal computer, and as I’m getting more professional about stuff I do for others I felt it was time to arrange a new, sleeker domain and such. The new site is still in development, but it should be up and running in a couple of weeks.

I’ll probably keep the blog on this machine, so faithful readers (both of you) don’t really have to change anything 😉

Big plans for the future though! Looking forward to it 🙂

Indoor Skydiving

Last weekend I went indoor skydiving with my bboy crew! A lot of fun (although kind of expensive)

The instructor told us afterwards that the facility uses about as much power as a small city combined… not really subtle, right? Next time maybe I should go for the real deal! If I’m going to drive for six hours I’m going to need more than a couple of minutes of fun ;).

Break-Even Board

Last week I became a Break-Even board member – the new treasurer. I’ve never actually been a treasurer, so this’ll be a new experience for me. I like new things 😉

In other good news, I get the feeling that this blog is actually being read by a couple of people. Unexpected, but very nice nonetheless. I’m feeling more motivated to keep it a bit more up-to-date now.

Overdrive Assault update

Just finished part 5 of my awesome little tutorial. Haven’t really gotten a lot of feedback yet, probably because it’s not quite impressive enough yet. I’m working on that, but for now you’ll have to do with some plain, decent code 😛
