Code for the future
In a couple of days I’m helping some friends out with their festival – Het Schooierfestijn (roughly tranlates to The RascalFest)
We’re transforming the exposition space of the art school into a big party for kids, encouraging them to do slightly naughty things. It’s a free party/festival/workshop thing, so if you’re in the neighborhood feel free to join us.

Just read a pretty nice article from RPS’s Kieron (it’s a pretty old one though). If I ever manage to sort-of finish Overdrive Assault, I really should send him (and numerous other people) a copy. And make loads of outrageous statements 🙂 I think I could manage that.
Kind of reminds me how Linus Torvalds is occasionally quoted making fun of everybody who disagrees with him. I very much agree that it does make the coverage a lot more interesting and lively, some very important pro-tips can be found in that article.
Just read a pretty nice article on dakkadakka.com on how most dice are, in fact, unbalanced and tend to prefer one face over the others.
In related youtube video’s, [here] and [here], Louis Zocchi explains in more detail why this is (some self-promotion here, but the explanation seems plausible).
Just thought it was pretty entertaining.
Right, just finished part 3 of the game engine tutorial… it’s starting to look pretty good 😉
